School's out for two weeks, yet it feels like forever

So I first want to make a shoutout before I start typing away about foolishness. This one goes out to my boy NICK PRATT and COLLEGEBOY MOVEMENT. If you don't know about them then get on your grind cuz you're definitely slippin. Nick put me on to this site so I gotta show him some love, ALSO congrats Nick and Omega Psi Phi Fratenity Inc. on getting some youngins this past semester :)

So yes all of that was long overdue but clearly if you couldn't tell before I halfway use this site and I thought now would be a good time to start since I am bored as heck in my room. I only have a few days till I have to go back to Pitt for my summer classes, but I am so ready to go now. My checklist of people that I care to see has been complete since like friday and not working when you are broke is no fun. I got harrassed by all the people at my church (and if you are reading this NO I DO NOT HAVE A MAN BACK AT PITT SO STOP ASKING IF THAT IS THE REASON I AM GOING BACK!) and Jury duty was pretty WACK! So I get stuck on a trial that should have only been a few hours long, but it got pushed to two days since the judge had to finish up another case before ours. Seeing that my case involved an elderly woman, it also couldnt run past 1 oclock (some stupid massachusetts law). SO we get the case that was a simple car accident claim, no biggie right...wrong. They kept bringing up stupid stuff that was not related to the case in any way to prolong it. When we finally got to deliberate, I stated from the beginning why we should award this woman a certain amount of money and be done with it, but nobody listened to me. So debates and backtracking happened for TWO HOURS only for everyone to come back to the same thing I said 20 minutes into the session. All I can say is I'm glad that is a once in three years deal.

So, before I end this blog I thought I would share some words of inspiration from
"Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." matthew 6:3 (KJV)
I thought I should share this because it has been on my mind with a few things lately. When this scripture talks about alms, I don't believe that it is only talking about monetary gifts. Atleast for me, this scripture is saying that in all things that you do, don't go around broadcasting it to the world, even if it means that people that you are close with. Though people might give you public praise, you are opening up the door for jealousy and envy to creep in. With this, even the people that are closes to you can inturn cause your good deeds to become a burden.

Okay, I'm done with my rants and sunday school message. Again remember look up Collegeboy Movement. They got some good stuff i'm tryna tell ya. also V-DUB and my GOON SQUAD Stay up and all that jazz, yall know what it is!

and I'm out (VANISH, lol)
